Kline’s relationship to Priscilla became clear:
He was her violator, confidant, medical adviser, secret keeper, and co-conspirator.
Messy.
He had power over her secret.
She had money/status useful to him.
They each used other.
No single dominance.

“I encouraged Simon to proceed anyway.”
“I believed genetic connection justified.”
“I was wrong.”

“Yes.”
“Did he ultimately decide?”
“Yes.”
