Sophia sat tied to a chair.

Richard paced across the room holding a revolver.
"You should've told the girl to stop running."
Sophia looked directly at him.
"My daughter will never become like you."
Richard laughed.
"You still think someone is coming?"

"He already has."

The cabin door exploded inward.
Owen and two guards rushed inside.
Richard instinctively raised the gun.
Damian entered behind them.
His eyes locked onto Sophia.
She stared back in complete disbelief.
Neither spoke.
