Boston police officers surrounded the cabin within minutes.
Detectives entered cautiously.
Richard was taken away in handcuffs.
As officers escorted him outside, he glared at Damian.
"You should've killed me."
Damian looked at him without emotion.
"No."
"You'll live."
"And answer for everything you've done."
One detective approached Damian.
"Mr. Moretti..."
"Your men cooperated."
"We'll take it from here."
Damian nodded.
For perhaps the first time in his life...
He chose the law over vengeance.
Sophia watched him quietly.
When the officers disappeared into the forest with Richard, she softly asked,
"What happened to you?"
Damian smiled faintly.
"You."
"I never stopped looking."
Sophia lowered her eyes.
"I thought you'd forgotten."
"I tried to send messages."
"He always found them."
Damian gently held the silver locket.
"One message finally reached me."
He looked toward Grace.
"And she brought it herself."
