The Betrayal Inside Harrison Holdings

Robert Mason disappeared the following morning.
His office was empty.
His phone was turned off.
His house had been abandoned.
Claire immediately understood.
“He's running.”
Ethan contacted the authorities.
But before they could locate him, Robert sent a message.
“I didn't betray you.”
Ethan stared at the screen.
Another message appeared.
“I'm afraid of him too.”
Ethan asked,
“Daniel Cross?”
Robert replied,
“Yes.”
Then came a file.
It contained bank records.
Robert had been moving money for Daniel.
But not willingly.
Daniel had threatened his family.
“He knows everything,” Robert wrote.
Ethan asked where Daniel was.
Robert sent an address.
An abandoned warehouse outside Los Angeles.
Ethan and Claire went there.
Inside, they found thousands of documents.
Photographs.
Financial records.
Corporate contracts.
And surveillance files.
Daniel had been monitoring the Harrison family for decades.
Ethan found photographs of himself as a child.
At school.
At home.
At baseball games.
Someone had followed him his entire life.
Then he found one photograph that made him sick.
It showed his mother entering the hospital.
Victor Hale was standing behind her.
And Daniel Cross was standing across the street.
The date matched the night she died.
Ethan stared at the photograph.
“Daniel was there.”
Claire nodded.
Then Ethan found a recording.
His mother's voice.
“If anything happens to me, Michael knows the truth.”
Ethan pressed play.
Her voice continued.
“Daniel Cross is not trying to steal the company.”
A pause.
“He wants something far more dangerous.”
The recording stopped.
Ethan looked at Claire.
“What?”
She shook her head.
“We need the rest.”
But someone had already removed it.
Only one sentence remained on the screen:
“Find the original founder.”

Ethan suddenly understood.
Margaret was the key.
