Chapter 23 - THE DAY TERESA’S NAME WENT ON THE WALLWestmere House opened a training center for hospitality staff.

Marina named a classroom:
TERESA BELLUCCI LEARNING ROOM
Not a giant statue.
Just plaque.

Numbers tell stories. Ask who wrote them.
Teresa had taught bookkeeping.
Marina smiled.
Enzo attended opening.
Seraphina too.
Gabriel cooked.
Sofia rolled eyes at speeches.
Nico too young.
Marina spoke:
“My mother was described for decades as a thief because powerful people found that story convenient. She was not perfect. She loved someone she should not have loved when his marriage was complicated but not finished. She lied to me because she was afraid. She also kept evidence, worked honest jobs, raised me, and survived longer than people expected.”
No saint.
Then:
“I do not honor her by pretending she did everything right.”
“I honor her by letting full story exist.”
Applause.
Enzo cried.
She teased after:
“You cry a lot for boss.”
“Shut up.”

Sibling.
This was emotional repayment.
