Anger counselor says action.

No public virtue.

He learns:

pause, leave, ask.

He sees how Vanessa exploited—but still his fist.

Mason afraid of Daniel for a while.

That consequence hurts.

At family gathering Mason steps away when Daniel raises voice mildly.

Daniel notices.

Later apologizes to Mason:

“You shouldn't have had to see that.”

Mason:

“Were you going to punch me?”

Daniel devastated.

“No.”
