Not for Julian’s actions.

“When he said you were confused, part of me wanted to believe him.”
“Because believing me would destroy your future.”
“Yes.”
She did not disguise it.
“I saw your uniform before I saw the ring.”
That honesty mattered.
Respect offered only after discovering a person’s connection to wealth is not respect.
Vanessa changed the hotel’s complaint process.
Contract cleaners received the same reporting access as executives.
Security could not remove workers from client disputes without hearing them.
Uniforms stopped determining credibility.
The reforms did not make Vanessa heroic.
