Sophia stealing Emily's file.
Mark watching Emily.

Everything seemed connected.

What was Emily carrying that someone wanted?
Daniel returned to Emily's house.
"Do you have anything unusual?"
Emily thought.
"No."
Then her husband remembered.
"The baby records."
Emily looked at him.
"What about them?"
"Someone asked us about them."
Daniel immediately asked,
"Who?"
"A woman from the clinic."
"Name?"
He gave it.
Daniel checked the hospital records.
There was no employee by that name.
The woman had never worked there.
Daniel's stomach tightened.
Someone had been trying to access Emily's medical information.
But why?
The answer came that night.
The unknown caller contacted Sophia.
"You failed."
Sophia trembled.
"I didn't know the child would see me."
"You were supposed to make Emily look unstable."
"I pushed her."
"You made a mistake."
"What do you want?"
The voice became colder.
"I want the file."
Sophia whispered,
"I don't have it anymore."
Silence.
Then:
"Find it."
The call ended.
Sophia stared at the phone.
