Daniel pressed Play.
The security footage showed the upstairs hallway.
Lily quietly walked toward her mother's bedroom carrying fresh flowers.
Moments later...
Victoria stepped into the frame.
Daniel watched in horror as she snatched the flowers away and threw them into the trash.
Another video showed Victoria removing family photographs from the walls.
Another showed her locking the bedroom door while Lily cried silently outside.
Daniel could barely breathe.
Then came the final recording.
The date matched the afternoon Lily had been slapped.
The camera had no audio.
But it showed everything.
Victoria storming across the room.

The little girl stumbling backward.
Then standing up again without crying.
