He locked himself inside his study.

Daniel's eyes stopped on one paragraph.
**The master bedroom shall remain permanently preserved for Lily Carter until she reaches twenty-one years of age.**
His breathing became heavier.
Another paragraph followed.

Daniel closed his eyes.
Victoria had violated Sarah's final wishes without even knowing they existed.
He continued reading.
The final page contained one more instruction.
**If any person intentionally attempts to remove Lily from her mother's room through intimidation or violence, the family trust shall immediately review that person's eligibility to inherit any Carter family assets.**
Daniel looked up in disbelief.

Someone knocked on the study door.
