Seven-year-old Lily stood frozen.
Her strawberry ice cream had begun melting onto her fingers, but she didn't seem to notice.
She had seen everything.
She had watched Sophia walk behind Emily.

Now she listened as adults argued.
As Sophia blamed Emily.

The little girl pointed directly at Sophia.

"I saw her push the pregnant lady!"

Emily slowly opened her eyes.
